What is the Edge tab

The Edge tab in the Developer Portal is where you manage everything related to your camera fleet:
  • Topology — a network-style map of your tenant, sites, edge boxes, and cameras with live status colors.
  • List — flat tables for sites, edge boxes, and cameras with inline editing.
  • Timeline — single-camera and multi-camera grid playback with VLM verdict events, severity coloring, and a scrubber.
  • Rollouts — canary-first OTA updates with auto-promote and auto-abort.
  • Audit — operator action history.
  • Domain pack — the compliance prompt set the workers run.
Open it from any workspace at /ide/edge, or click the Boxes icon in the IDE sidebar.

Who it’s for

  • Restaurant / retail operators who need to know “is every camera in every store actually working?”
  • Compliance reviewers who watch VLM verdicts and drill into evidence clips.
  • IT teams who roll new edge worker images out to a few stores first, then the whole fleet.

What you’ll need to get started

  • A Linux host at each site that can run Docker (Jetson Orin Nano, an x86 box, or anything similar — see hardware notes).
  • Network reachability from the host to your Oxy server.
  • Cameras that publish RTSP streams (UniFi Protect, Reolink, Hikvision, etc.).
