# Getting access

> Airhouse is proprietary software. Learn how to request access and what Oxygen provides.

<Warning>
  **Airhouse is not open source.** It's proprietary software from Oxygen Intelligence, and it isn't available for self-serve download. You need a written agreement with Oxygen before you install, run, or evaluate it. [Contact Oxygen](https://oxygen-hq.com/contact) to request access.
</Warning>

## What you receive

Once access is granted, Oxygen provides:

* **The Airhouse container image**, published to the GitHub Container Registry at `ghcr.io/oxy-hq/airhouse`. It's a multi-architecture image for `linux/amd64` and `linux/arm64`.
* **The Helm chart** for Kubernetes, published as an OCI artifact at `oci://ghcr.io/oxy-hq/helm-charts/airhouse`.
* **Registry credentials**, if your account needs them to pull the image and chart.
* **The release to use**: which image tag and chart version to deploy.

Airhouse clients are the standard Postgres tools you already use (`psql`, JDBC, `psycopg2`, and so on). You don't need a separate Airhouse client library.

## Requesting access

[Contact Oxygen](https://oxygen-hq.com/contact). To speed things up, include:

* **Your use case**: for example, analytics for your team, a warehouse behind your own product, or data access for AI agents.
* **Where you plan to run it**: Docker on a single host, or Kubernetes.
* **Your storage**: which S3-compatible object storage and which Postgres you plan to use for the catalog.
* **Rough scale**: how many databases (tenants), users, and concurrent queries you expect.

## Terms of use

Access to Airhouse is governed by your agreement with Oxygen. Without that agreement, no license is granted, even if you can reach the image or chart in a registry. Don't redistribute the image, the chart, or registry credentials outside your organization.

## Next steps

* [Installation](./installation): requirements and deployment options.
* [Quickstart](./quickstart): try Airhouse locally with Docker Compose once you have access.
